The greatest thing about loving photography is that sometimes you can just go play. Experiment and have fun. This afternoon I headed out to the park here in Evans to sit and watch the beautiful hot air balloons that were on display. It was spectaculor. I sat for hours watching children and families ride the balloons and the excitement of the day. I knew they were doing a night glow event …torching up for everyone to see so I stayed to watch. It was one of the most amazing and beautiful things I have ever seen. It only lasted for a few minutes but the wait was well worth it. It was amazing!!! During the day, I saw 93 year old Mrs. Hendrick’s climb into a hot air balloon and go up. I thought she was an amazing woman. When I am 93 I want to be just like her. She has an unbelievable spirit for life! It is amazing how life can just be so special if you take the time to slow down and watch it! ~Sally
