Tennessee Sunset

napijack

Hey Everybody, I drove up thru Georgia and thru Tennessee today to come to Nashville for the Imaging USA PPA (Professional Photographers of America) convention. As I passed thru Chattanooga the sun was setting. Several times the sky was so awesome I wanted to stop the car and take a photo, one time I almost got hit by a semi as I dazed at the beauty of the sky coming across the mountains. Just as the sun was about to set, I spotted a rest stop on the other side of the highway, so I went to the next exit did a u turn and photographed the last few minutes of the sunset. It was beautiful!

I arrived at the Opryland Hotel about two hours later. Wayne and I used to live here in Nashville twenty years ago. It is amazing to me how much this area has grown and changed!!! Shopping malls  and hotels, and even the Opryland hotel, has now a river running thru it like the riverwalk in San Antonio. It is amazing.

Anyway, early to bed I went as we have a full day of classes and workshops in store. There will be so much to do and learn. I have already met up with some of my fellow photographer friends from Washington and am excited to be here for a few days. I will miss you all and if you need anything just send me an e-mail and I will be right back in touch with you.
