Logan and Mike are Married!

Congratulations to Logan and Mike! They were married yesterday at First Christian Church. It was a beautiful day for a wedding. Logan’s dad Harry was so proud as he walked his beautiful daughter down the aisle. Logan’s mom Alice kept it together and and only got teary once. Logan was a gorgeous bride! The pictures will be edited and up in the next week.

Anna Logan Doswell of Aiken, SC and Michael David Mauldin of North Augusta, SC were married June 29, 2013 at First Christian Church in Augusta, GA. The bride was given in marriage by Mr. and Mrs. Harry James Doswell. The Rev. Keith Stewart officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry James Doswell of Aiken, SC. She is a granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Willliam Norman Cochran and Mrs. Ann James Doswell and the late Lt. Col. J. Temple Doswell.

The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Mauldin and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Baker of Aiken, SC. He is a grandson of Mrs. Helen Sims and the late Mr. Lewis Sims and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mauldin and the late Sylvia Duke.

Ashley Padgett of Aiken, SC was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Tindall of Aiken, SC, cousin of the groom; Ashley Northington of Aiken, friend of the bride; and Sarah Stafford of Charleston, SC, friend of the bride.

William Sims of Aiken, SC ws the best man. Groomsmen were Calvin Tindall of Aiken, SC, friend of the groom; Robert Brown of Augusta, GA, friend of the groom; and Charles Norris of Aiken, SC, friend of the groom.

Law Glefke of Aiken, SC was the ringbearer.

Reagan Hunt of Simpsonville, SC was the flower girl.

Following a reception at the Palmetto Terrace, North Augusta, the couple left for a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

They will reside in North Augusta.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Aiken High School. She is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in graphic communications. She is employed by Strayer University.

The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of South Aiken High School. He is employed by Bridgestone Americas, Inc.

The Wedding Photography was done by Sally Kolar Photography, Wedding Flowers by Burton Florist-Sandra Burton, The cake was done by Kendra’s Cakes, and the wedding coordinator was Whitney Sullivan. The wedding dress came from House of the Bride.
