Hey Everybody, imagine my surprise this morning. I logged online to go to my lab and ordered prints. At checkout, I was STUNNED to learn they had increased their shipping fees. To my knowledge, mail prices have not gone up in the last 24 hours that I had heard of, and it wasn’t a small jump it was a HUGE Jump. As all things, I step back for a second and think, ok, they have to pay employees to pack it, and label it. Again, but this much of a jump? Some things I get offended by and this is one of them. My lab did not even tell me they were raising prices. For the short term I have to raise my shipping cost to cover this. For the long term, there are other labs, and I will be working on searching for a new lab that we can continue the same quality in printing but keep our cost as low as we can for all of my customers. Hey Everybody, I photographed Tori Perano at the studio last night. She is amazingly beautiful. Tori is a junior over at Strom Thurmond High School She is in the photography club (RAH RAH!!!) and Beta Club-(a really good student), a member of FFA and FCA -Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a member of the softball team. She was in the Miss Junior Statesman Pageant and won. And now will be competing in the Distinguished Young Women of America Pageant. She is going to do very well, she has a great personality and is very pretty!!
Hey Everybody, we photographed Erin Kinsel at Hopeland Gardens on Sunday. I must tell you Erin’s dress is so beautiful, and she looked stunning in her dress! She brought with her, her mom and some of her very best friends, the session was awesome, and I will be so excited when I can show you pictures! But, for now you will have to wait, it is just a few more months till the wedding! Sally

Hey Everybody, I was hired by Verizon Wireless for a corporate event they held yesterday at the Doubletree in Augusta. They had team members from all over the state. The executives on the stage are: Jim Davis-Director of Operations, Jonathan LeCompte-Region President, Sean Nickerson-Director of Marketing, and Steve Leonard-Director of Data Sales. To hear them speak about Verizon was amazing. They started the day with a trade show. I learned that the newest coolest phone on the market is the HTC ReZound. I also learned that if I didn’t have a Smart phone, I should head to Verizon and get one. They gave out awards to many members of their staff and made alot of people happy. Recieving Awards were: Jim Hargreaves, Andrea Griffin, Staci Arnold accepting for Pooler Retail, Amy Little, Melissa Lanier. The whole meeting was exciting and fun. I wished I was part of the Verizon team!

Hey Everybody, we have been on a pageant roll as we get ready for the Miss Augusta Pageant. We did finally pageant photographs for Karson Pennington. Last year Karson won Miss Augusta Oustanding Teen 2011. She is a beautiful young lady. She is maturing so nicely. On hand to help with our photo shoot was her mom, Kathy, who is so awesome on hair and makeup. It has been months since I have seen the Pennington’s, so I really enjoyed getting to see them and chat! Their photos are online, if you want to see them you can ask Karson for the password! From the sneak peak here, you can tell she looks fantastic!!! She is soooo pretty!
Hey Everybody, we were in the studio again last night. We photographed Sydney Hillman. Sydney has been the reigning Miss Savannah River Oustanding Teen. The pageant is in just a few weeks, and a new Miss Savannah River Oustanding Teen will be crowned. Sydney has totally enjoyed being an oustanding teen, and we can attest she is one wonderful young lady! We love Sydney and her best friend-her mom, Gloria!!!
Hey Everybody, I went out to the Few home yesterday and did pictures of Emma Kate outside. There yard is amazing and their are so many cool spots to photograph. We had a great session, and as always it was great fun to spend time with Emma Kate and her mom, Indee!
Hey Everybody, I photographed Samantha Osteen. She is one of our beauty pageant winners, in just a few weeks she will hand over her crown to a new contestant. She is such a beautiful girl. We enjoyed getting to know here doing her session!
Christmas Portrait Sessions on Sale!!!
Hey Everybody, hope you are all getting ready for Thanksgiving. I am feeling kinda behind today, my neighbors have already put out their Christmas decorations, and I still haven’t bought my turkey for Thanksgiving!!! Anyway, it is ok…we still have time to shop for a turkey and a few more weeks to put up those Christmas decorations. So as you prepare for the holidays a lot of you will head out to the mall, or the super stores for photos. And well, you stand in line and wait and wait and wait and wait. It is just crazy!!! So I decided I would do a in studio session sale and blog a little about it. It is in the BTC building in North Augusta, I work by appointment only, but I work all the time, so if you want to schedule a session call me. I work weekends and evenings!!! My studio is quiet. There are no windows! You will never see anyone watching you get photographed and you will love that it is quiet and personable. All of my work is custom and retouched at affordable prices. My 8×10′s are twenty, 5×7 are ten, 4×6 are nine. I also sell canvas wall portraits that are amazing!!!! You pay shipping and handling and Georgia Sales Tax. Everyone orders online, so after your photo shoot you leave go home and your images are posted online. All photo orders are mailed directly to your home. It is an awesome experience. I use one of the largest professional photography labs in the country, Miller’s lab, and photos are always processed professional. “OMG!!!!!! Sally, I received the pictures last night and let me just say that it was probably the best money I have spent in a very long time. I am soooooooooo happy with those pictures. I cannot explain to you. I took them to work and everyone oooohed and awwwwed. It was so wonderful. Darrell later took them to his job to show off too and they were a big hit.
