Hey Everybody….I have a photo shoot next week that will require two models. Are you interested? If so, you will need to be available Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m., and you should plan to do an hour long photo shoot. We are looking for one female and one male for this job. Models applying for this shoot will need to come dressed in professional business attire for the photo and be above 35 years in age. Hey Everybody….We were with the Penney family in Evans yesterday. Sydney and Taylor wanted new portraits to hang in their rooms and hallway. We had a fabulous photo session and the girls looked amazing! We had so much fun spending time with Georgine and the horses. Their property is amazing! We photographed down by the lake and also by the barn. The one thing that struck me yesterday after being at the Penney’s so many times was to learn that their beautiful dog “Wally” is actually a girl! What a surprise! Who would have imagined Wally was a girl? Anyway, the photos of the girls are fabulous and if you want to peek at the pictures, just ask one of the girls for the password. Sally

Hey Everybody…. We’re out at Georgia Health Services Hospital again today for another awesome photo shoot. Angeline “Missy” Pratt was just selected as the Georgia Nurses Association CSRA Chapter – Nurse of the Year. Missy is from Florida and has been a nurse since 1965. Missy told me that she has been nominated before, but has never won this honor… until now. She almost didn’t go to the banquet, but at the last minute, she decided to go. As she listened to all of the qualities of the winner, she thought to herself… “Wow, this person sounds amazing. I should get to know her!” What a surprise, when Missy found out the person they were talking about was her! She was stunned, and so honored to be chosen. She was chosen from a group of over fifty nurses. Missy is a genuine, caring, kind, and sweet individual. I loved hearing her talk about her life as a nurse and how honored she felt to be chosen. Congratulations Missy! I think the hospital picked an amazing woman to be the Georgia Nurse Association CSRA Chapter-Nurse of the Year!
Hey Everybody…. We were out at the Georgia Health Science Hospital in downtown Augusta Thursday morning for a cool photo session. We were hired to take new photos of the pediatric helicopter and the team who works up on the heliport. While chatting with the team, I learned that on an average 12 children per minute are injured in the United States with unintentional injuries. Most of these children will require a trip to an emergency room or need a flight to to a pediatric tertiary care center like Georgia Health Sciences. The key to survival after serious injuries, or with severe critical illnesses, is to transport these children with a pediatric transport team to the best facility available. Although I only talked with this incredible team for a few minutes, I could sense their kindness and the genuine concern they have for the patients they serve. They are so knowledgeable about their job and make caring for children their top priority. I am so proud of this team and the work they do to help children in our community!
Hey Everybody…. We were back at the Marriott Saturday night photographing another Alumni event. This time we were there to photograph the School of Dentistry. Dean Connie Drisko was there, as was Dr. Azziz. It was a busy weekend for them, and the alumni had fun getting caught up with their colleagues. We saw lots of handshakes and hugs all around the room. It was a delightful weekend!
Here is the real blog from Friday night… The alumni were treated to dinner and a wonderful reception at the Marriott. Thanks to MCG for hiring us. We thought the evening was fabulous!!!
So… Friday night we were hired by MCG to cover the Alumni banquet, and who do I run into? Why it’s Dr. Joe and his wife, and then in came President Azziz. Dr. Joe and I laughed as he taught Dr. Azziz his famous “Caddy Shake”. I just love Dr. Joe, and I think the world loves him too!!!!
Christmas Portrait Sessions on Sale!!!
Hey Everybody, hope you are all getting ready for Thanksgiving. I am feeling kinda behind today, my neighbors have already put out their Christmas decorations, and I still haven’t bought my turkey for Thanksgiving!!! Anyway, it is ok…we still have time to shop for a turkey and a few more weeks to put up those Christmas decorations. So as you prepare for the holidays a lot of you will head out to the mall, or the super stores for photos. And well, you stand in line and wait and wait and wait and wait. It is just crazy!!! So I decided I would do a in studio session sale and blog a little about it. It is in the BTC building in North Augusta, I work by appointment only, but I work all the time, so if you want to schedule a session call me. I work weekends and evenings!!! My studio is quiet. There are no windows! You will never see anyone watching you get photographed and you will love that it is quiet and personable. All of my work is custom and retouched at affordable prices. My 8×10′s are twenty, 5×7 are ten, 4×6 are nine. I also sell canvas wall portraits that are amazing!!!! You pay shipping and handling and Georgia Sales Tax. Everyone orders online, so after your photo shoot you leave go home and your images are posted online. All photo orders are mailed directly to your home. It is an awesome experience. I use one of the largest professional photography labs in the country, Miller’s lab, and photos are always processed professional. “OMG!!!!!! Sally, I received the pictures last night and let me just say that it was probably the best money I have spent in a very long time. I am soooooooooo happy with those pictures. I cannot explain to you. I took them to work and everyone oooohed and awwwwed. It was so wonderful. Darrell later took them to his job to show off too and they were a big hit.
