One of my best friends is having an exhibition of his photography works at the Colophon Cafe in Bellingham from April 1-30th. The Legendary Colophon Cafe and Deli, located in the historic Fairhaven section of Bellingham, Washington. They offer fine food and they even have an old-fashioned ice cream counter and an espresso bar! (It’s my kind of place) So you can have a coffee or an ice cream cone as you check out Jefferson’s photography.
Jefferson’s website is www.photosforthepeople.com So for my Bellingham friends, if your thinking the Colophon Cafe-think Fairhaven and you are right there-but don’t look for my old house which has sadly been torn down-(that’s another story) Jefferson has a lot of amazing photography. He has been working on some projects that are very interesting and I admire him for them, one is called “The Stranger” series, and if you know Jefferson you will know this is a project close to his heart. I first met Jefferson many years ago when we worked on a project for Christ the King Church. We moved on and worked on other projects and quickly became friends. I believe Jeff to be one of the best landscape photographers I have ever met. He hikes into mountains and terrain-or goes out late at night to get the most amazing photography. It is a true but seldom told story that he hiked into Larrabee State Park with me!
If you are not near Bellingham, I hope you will surf the internet and just look at Jeff’s work. I love his Oregon Series and I love his pictures from Hawaii. All of Jeff’s artwork is available for sale.
And to my friend Jeff, congratulations on your show and may God always bless your journey. ~Sally
