Hey Everybody! I spent the morning photographing Lynn Phillips and her daughter Kerri. Kerri is headed to the University of Georgia in a few weeks to major in English with a Pre-Law emphasis. She will be leaving for school a week earlier than other students to attend sorority recruitment. Sorority recruitment was the reason we made this really cool collage; this way she can stand out in a crowd of over 2,000 other girls – there are only about 1,000 openings. I was really impressed today when Lynn, Kerri’s mother, told me how well Kerri did on her AP courses and that she will not have to take math classes in college. Through AP testing, Kerri has already completed 26 credit hours prior to her first day of class and was awarded AP with Distinction… That’s just amazing! So if you see Lynn or Kerri Phillips out and about before Kerri heads to college, congratulate her on being an honor student and give Lynn a compass – she’s going to be lost without her daughter!
