For the last seven years I have not charged for head-swaps. On an average it can take anywhere from one to two hours to get it correct. I do all the work myself. I painstakingly work thru each image to make it perfect. When I am in sessions with folks, they just say-“Just swap it”! Sounds so easy, but the head position, eyes, lips nose all must be at the same angle. And no matter what I do, folks complain, I don’t like how it looks. That is because photoshop is not magic and it is not the original image. Anytime you change the original image, chances are no matter how good you are, you will be able to tell. The last four orders have requested head swaps, and each time my clients have complained, they do not like how the image looks. For this reason, I am changing my policy on head-swaps, eye swaps, mouth swaps, and changes that are not under five minutes in work in Photoshop. Images that need additional help will be sent to a professional retoucher. As of today December 2, 2015, we will send all head-swaps to a professional retoucher and the cost is forty dollars per head to swap.
